Liberty Pennant Banner

If you liked my Stars and Stripes Wreaths, you will probably like this project too, it is filled with lots of patriotic colors and burlap goodness. Normally I do paper banners but I have decided to start doing fabric banners because they will be able to last year to year.

I made the pattern for the pennant banner with my Silhouette and traced it onto my fabric and then cut it out.
Add a small amount of glue to the top of the tab.
 And fold it over.
I forgot to get a picture of the cutting out the letters step but I used my Silhouette to cut the letters out but you can also just trace letters onto fabric and use Heat and Bond.
I then ironed the letters on.

Then I strung the ribbon through the loops and then all you have to do is hang it up.

It's hard to tell but that is actually blue jean material, not black like it looks in the picture.

Happy Flag Day everyone! I will be sharing how I decorated the rest of my built in cabinets for this patriotic season soon.

I like to wear women's leggings at home because they're really warm, and I choose them over extended johns since they're more comfortable. At times I wear em over my jeans or slacks in the winter to keep my legs from freezing up, especially when I shovel snow. Thus how bad is the social stigma for something like this?.
